Unfortunately, there are far too few psychotherapy places available. For years, more and more therapies have been solely focused on the clinical approach. They only address disorders and symptoms, completely disregarding the individual. As a result, the opportunities for personal development and self-realization are diminishing.
Therefore, please help support the promotion of holistic personal development and psychological self-help through your donation – both on YouTube and, hopefully, in real life :) The main focus is that it is not necessary to have a diagnosed mental disorder, and we aim to reduce stigma and prejudice.
I am gladly offering my expertise as a licensed psychotherapist and my time. If you would like to support the channel, even small contributions starting from one euro, and more if possible, will help further its development.
What has been effectively accomplished so far without donations?
Psychotherapie-FAQ.de Psychotherapie-FAQ.de has been supporting patients, families, and professionals since 2018. This comprehensive platform provides free information and explanations on the subject of psychotherapy and everything related to it. It explains the framework, processes, and terms in simple language. It aims to dispel prejudices and educate about patient rights and alternative support options. In 2022, according to AWStats, the FAQ page had a total of 1,747,840 accesses!
HilfeABC.de helps people quickly and effectively in their search for therapy placements. In addition to useful search tips, this platform provides nationwide and, above all, complete lists of all psychotherapists who can bill the statutory health insurances. This is much easier and faster than using Google, as not all therapists actually have websites. Since early 2020, HilfeABC.de has been shared multiple times a week with colleagues, patients, and inquiries. The feedback has also been very positive.
szuwart.de , the website of my practice, contains extensive specialized information and educational texts on the subject of psychotherapy. This offering is well-received and regularly accessed. For example, searching for „child psychologist“ or „consultation report“ on Google will lead to relevant results. As a result, I have already been interviewed on platforms such as ZDF and Welt.de.
What are the donations used for?
The continuation of the idea, especially providing patients and other affected individuals with high-quality, freely accessible information, now inevitably leads to YouTube.
To produce films for a YouTube channel at a high level, more is required than one might think: a camera, sufficiently good microphones, lighting equipment, and the corresponding tripods necessitate higher investments. Even if one strives to keep costs low, unfortunately, they can add up. In addition, there are expenses for outsourced services, such as programmers, required graphics, images, hosting, software licenses, advertising campaigns, and recurring fees. Translations into other languages are also planned to enable people with migration or refugee experiences to access much-needed assistance.

About the person
My name is Tobias Szuwart. As a licensed psychotherapist and group therapist, I have had a practice in Frankfurt Nordend since 2018. I completed my studies in depth psychology and received training as a child and adolescent psychotherapist at the Wiesbadener Academy for Psychotherapy (WiAP). I have worked for many years in psychiatric institutions, prisons, debt counseling centers, addiction support, and youth welfare offices. I have also contributed to efficacy studies on deep psychological approaches to psychotherapy. Furthermore, I have undergone various further trainings in systemic and alternative therapy methods, as well as different approaches to personal development. I have also personally undergone several hundred hours of psychoanalysis. My skills in communication, counseling, and crisis intervention have been sought after for management and personnel training in companies and public institutions such as the Hessian Ministry of Justice and the University of Frankfurt for interface management, organizational development, and structural development. With my authorization as a contracted psychotherapist by the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, I am registered in the medical register. This enables me to invoice all private health insurance companies and statutory health insurance funds. I am also a member of the Hessian Psychotherapist Chamber and the German Association of Psychotherapists.
Das Studium der Tiefenpsychologie und eine Ausbildung zum Kinder- & Jugendlichenpsychotherapeuten absolvierte ich an der Wiesbadener Akademie für Psychotherapie (WiAP).
Ich habe viele Jahre in Psychiatrien, Gefängnissen, Schuldnerberatungsstellen, in der Suchthilfe und in Jugendämtern gearbeitet und zu Wirksamkeitsstudien über die tiefenpsychologischen Psychotherapieansätze beigetragen.
Außerdem verfüge ich über verschiedene Fortbildungen in systemischen und alternativen Therapieverfahren sowie unterschiedlichen Methoden zur Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. Dabei habe ich selbst auch eine Psychoanalyse von mehreren hundert Stunden gemacht.
Meine Kompetenzen in den Bereichen Kommunikation, Beratung und Krisenintervention wurden für Management- und Personaltrainings in Unternehmen und öffentlichen Dienststellen wie dem Hessischen Justizministerium und der Universität Frankfurt am Main für Schnittstellenmanagement, Organisations- und Strukturentwicklung angefordert.
Mit der Zulassung zum Vertragspsychotherapeuten der Kassenärztlichen Vereinigung bin ich im Arztregister eingetragen. Damit bin ich berechtigt, mit allen privaten Krankenversicherungen und gesetzlichen Krankenkassen abzurechnen. Weiterhin bin ich Mitglied der Hessischen Psychotherapeutenkammer sowie der Deutschen Psychotherapeuten Vereinigung.
